Awaiting reply
An organization sent a hire request and is waiting for a consultant to reply, accept, or decline.
Accepted
A consultant accepted an organization's hire request and is waiting for the organization to authorize a contract. Both parties may still be fine tuning some of the details and you can still adjust the details of the hire request before a contract is issued.
In some cases the organization may be considering multiple consultants who accepted their assignment.
If you accept a hire request you are not under contract yet. You are not under contract until you sign a contract and it is countersigned by Keylime.
Initiate contract (only visible to organizations): Once the assignment details are finalized, the organization can click 'initiate contract' and contracts will be issued using the details in that hire request.
Contract sent: Keylime has sent contracts to the consultant and the organization.
Contract signed: The consultant and the organization have fully executed contracts.
In Progress
An organization issued a hire request, initiated a contract, and both parties signed the contract. The organization and the consultant are under contract and the work can begin immediately.
Completed
The work under that hire request is completed.
Archived
A hire request is no longer active, but is still visible to the organization. For example, if you reach out to a consultant and they decline your request or if they reply after you've already made a decision you can mark it as archived. Archived requests will remain visible to the organization and are removed from the consultant dashboard.
Cancelled
The organization cancelled a hire request when it was awaiting reply or after the consultant accepted. A cancelled hire request is removed from the organization dashboard and the consultant dashboard.
Declined
A consultant declined a hire request from an organization. A declined hire request will be deleted from the organization dashboard and the consultant dashboard. If a consultant wants to communicate a reason for declining, they can send a message before clicking decline.
